Hernia, or hernia, is a protrusion of the peritoneum through the abdominal wall. Through the resulting crack or weakened abdominal wall, the internal lining of the abdominal cavity is pushed out. Although hernias can occur in many parts of the body, they most commonly occur in the groin, navel, or in scars from previous abdominal surgeries.
The cause of hernia / hernia is a sudden increase in intra-abdominal pressure, e.g. due to intense coughing, constipation, heavy physical exertion, intense exercise or strength training and very often during pregnancy in women.
The only possible treatment for hernia / hernia is surgical treatment. During the surgical procedure, the contents of the hernia sac are returned to the abdominal cavity and the weakened area is strengthened.
Basic information
