Neck Lift is a plastic surgery procedure aimed at rejuvenating the neck. A loose neck is a common sign of aging. It is caused by loose skin, loosening and splitting of the platysma muscle, and often the accumulation of fat in the subcutaneous tissue. During the surgery, through a discreet incision (behind the ear and in the hairline), the sagging skin on the neck is lifted, excess skin on the neck is removed, and the weakened and sagging platysma muscle located in the subcutaneous tissue of the neck is lifted and tightened. To achieve a better aesthetic result, neck lifting often needs to be combined with a facelift.
