Rhinoplasty
The appearance of the nose significantly affects the overall look of the face. If the nose has an unsightly shape, size, or is too wide and irregular, it certainly does not contribute to a person's self-confidence. Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery of the nose, where the nose is aesthetically adjusted (reduced, nasal deformities are removed, the tip of the nose is modeled, nostrils are corrected). Before each plastic surgery procedure, a personal consultation with a specialist - a plastic surgeon - is necessary, during which the client goes through their expectations and the plastic surgeon presents the possibilities - what is aesthetically acceptable and what is actually possible.
Basic Information
- The procedure is performed under general anesthesia
- After the surgery, the nose is covered with plaster for 2 weeks. Subsequently, the client receives a plaster case for the night for about 3 weeks
- For 3 to 6 months, it is necessary to regularly massage the nose and avoid any impacts, i.e., not to jump into the water in the pool and avoid contact sports, extreme temperatures, sunlight, sauna
- If the postoperative condition is normal, the client can return to work approximately after 14 days
- Greater physical exertion, such as exercise, can be resumed approximately 2 months after the procedure
- The final effect is visible after about 6 to 12 months
