PRP – PLASMA
The visible aging of the skin is caused by the disruption of cell structures and the natural loss of collagen. Consequently, the skin loses its natural colour, the skin feels weak and wrinkles appear.
HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
It is a proven method of natural tissue renewal.
PRP is a platelet-rich plasma. Platelets play an important role in the process of stopping bleeding. However, their role is much more complex, due to the growth factor content, they are significantly involved in the process of tissue healing and restoration.
HOW DOES THE PROGRESS WORK?
We obtain the material directly by taking blood from the patient on the day of surgery. As it’s a patient’s own blood, the risk of developing an allergic reaction to the substance being administered is minimal. Approximately 10 ml of blood is collected and subsequently centrifuged to separate the platelet plasma from other blood elements. This platelet-rich plasma stimulates a regeneration processes in the tissues, the formation of new vessels and the formation of collagen. Consequently, the skin is firm, brightened, wrinkles are smoothed, dark circles under the eyes disappear, and the skin simply looks so much healthier.
PRP can be administered alone or in combination with hyaluronic acid, where we mainly use its water binding properties and thus return the skin to its hydration and elasticity.
The use of PRP has a broad portfolio in various fields. We use it here
- in dermatology and aesthetic medicine for rejuvenation of facial skin, cleavage, hands, treatment of acne, treatment of badly healing wounds and scars, but also in solving alopecia
- in orthopaedics for intra-articular administration in early stages of osteoarthritis
